Why Do People get addicted to online gaming?
Well, its simple, i finally figured out why with simple logic and social formula. They become addicted because they can’t find a sense of accomplishment in the real world so they feel accomplished in a virtual world, yet this accomplishment is false. There are a few exceptions to people who are already accomplished, but those people are trying to fill in a void. The void can be a range of things, love, fear, lack of friends, anything. People can begin to face their fears, or feel false love from the online gamers who give it to them when they are known as “pros”. Also, they make friends from others whom they will, 90% of the chance, never meet. They are still called friends to them because they are in their “buddy list”. These are just a few examples, theres a lot more. Well, i thought this was interesting to research upon, and just sharing a thought. Don’t you agree on this insight? :)
